Chuppah, Part 2

Mery and Nick wanted to paint their own chuppah. So they came all the way from San Francisco, along with their friend Talya, to my studio in Southern California to do just that. Above, they are practicing applying "gutta," the resist material that will be the line work on the silk. And below, they are practicing painting on this small piece.

Featured Artist at Dharma Trading Company

You can now see my silk work on Dharma Trading Co.'s web site! I was featured this month in their newsletter (a portion of it is pictured here) and am now a featured artist in their silk painting section of artists. Dharma is a great place to buy silk and other fabrics as well as fabric painting supplies. They also have some nice painting tutorials on their web site.
