Noah's Ark, Part 8, Grand Finale

Grandma and Granddaughter came to the studio to tie the tsitsit on the tallit.

A happy granddaughter who will soon become an adult in the eyes of the Jewish community as she becomes a Bat Mitzvah.

It's beautiful Hillary! I love how the rainbow follows across the two sides. What do you add at the bottom to tie the tsitsit to? Are those pieces of silk or something stiffer? Are they ironed on with an adhesive material or sewn on? Do you always have your clients add the tsitsit? I think that's a great idea. You must get a wonderful feeling making something for such an important day that will be a part of their lives forever.

I ran into Gloria from your art class on Tuesday. It was good to see her. It sounds like she follows your blog.
