I can't tell the difference (on the Internet) if I'm looking at silk or paper which impresses me that you can emulate you watercolors so well in a fabric surface!

I can't wait to see the finished shawl. The colors are beautiful and dramatic. Is that the tallit prayer around the moon?

Thank you Erika, Suzanne, Nancy and Akiko for your comments! Yes, Nancy, the tallit blessing is written around the moon. In both designs just posted, I was looking for the sun or moon and the blessing around it to act like a crown or kippah when the wearer puts the tallit over his head, as some people do it prayer. When he wears it over his shoulders, the sun/moon is on his back.
