Okay! This is amazing.Love it love it love it.
High 5 to you a beautiful master piece.
Hillary, I was at work today and a bunch of us were hovering over the computer just admiring this work. And then as if you were a movie star I blurted out , " I know her!"
Really I love your interpretation very much.
I keep coming back to your painting. Your colors are beautiful and I love the foliage surrounding the building. It makes it look very inviting. Great job!
Love the eye catching color and the background. Bravo!
Your DSFDF painting is beautiful. I love the trees and the colors. I've enjoyed looking at your other work too... I especially like the little still lifes.
Thank you Irit!
Dori, thanks, you cracked me up!
Carol H., I appreciate your comments, it's nice to meet you!
Deano, thanks so much for the words!
Carol B., Thank you! I looked at your blog and can see why you like the small pieces!
I wasn't going to look until I did mine but lo and behold you did oils hahaa! It was very hard to decide what to use - what made you choose oils? I'm jealous that you got to play with more body love your palette (what else is new right?) :)
Love those sherbet colors, Hillary.
Great stuff as always!
Hi Erika - I guess I wanted to play with that body too! And sometimes I long to go in the opposite direction - that is, from dark to light! In oils I like to start with a dark/colored ground...
Thanks Lee, it is kind of like sherbert, you're right!
Hey Hillary, I am giving you an Art Blog Award cut & paste from mine. You deserve it. If you choose to, list 7 things you love and then list 7 fellow bloggers. Then notify the 7 that they have received awards.
Hillary it's so beautiful! I just love the colors. You filled sky with trees. It works well. Big clouds are not common things in San Francisco anyway.
I like your piece for DSFDF every thing is very attractive, love the background you choose.
